Writing anxiety is one of the most common barriers we see.

Learners may be articulate verbally but freeze when asked to write. They may avoid homework, rush tasks, or shut down completely.

This is not laziness. It is often fear.

  • Not knowing how to start

  • Repeating past negative experiences

At Let’s Go Learning, we address writing anxiety directly through structured, low-pressure teaching.

GCSE and Exam Support

For older learners, we:

  • Teach predictable paragraph structures

  • Break exam questions into steps

  • Practise timed writing gradually

  • Build familiarity to reduce uncertainty

Structure reduces anxiety. Confidence increases output.
