Many parents notice their child struggles with reading, writing, or expressing themselves, but aren’t sure what support would help. Early identification of these difficulties can make a huge difference for learning, confidence, and wellbeing.

At Let’s Go Learning, we now offer two assessments designed to give parents and educators clear insight:

1. Speech & Language Screening (30 min)

This short online session helps identify key communication and literacy challenges. It’s suitable for children and young people who:

  • Have SEND or literacy difficulties

  • Struggle to follow instructions or express themselves

  • Experience anxiety or difficulty engaging at school

What’s included:

  • 30-minute online assessment

  • 10–15 minute follow-up report highlighting strengths, challenges, and suggested next steps

This quick screening is perfect for parents wanting an initial understanding before exploring longer-term support.

2. Communication & Literacy Profile Assessment (60 min)

For a more detailed view, this full assessment provides:

  • A 1-hour online session assessing language, literacy, narrative skills, and communication confidence

  • A 3–4 page report with targets, recommendations, and links to programmes

  • Guidance on how to support your child at home or through online tuition

This assessment is ideal for children who may benefit from structured literacy and language programmes or targeted interventions.

Why Assessments Matter

  • Parents gain a clear picture of their child’s communication and literacy strengths and needs

  • Schools and educators can use the report to plan support

  • Supports decision-making for interventions, tuition, or EHCPs
