Working in Partnership

We believe safeguarding is a shared responsibility. We maintain open communication with families, schools and Local Authorities to ensure that learners are supported consistently and appropriately.

How we keep learners safe during online sessions

At Lets Go Learning, the safety and wellbeing of our learners is our top priority. Because our sessions take place online, we have clear safeguards in place to make sure learners are supported, supervised, and protected at all times.

Using cameras

We may ask learners to turn their cameras on during sessions so that:

  • Tutors can confirm identity

  • We can check that learners are safe and engaged

  • We can support interaction and learning

If a learner is unable to use their camera, we will take this into account and work with families to ensure appropriate arrangements are in place.

Session supervision

  • All sessions are led by trained and appropriately vetted staff.

  • Tutors follow clear professional standards at all times.

  • Learners are supervised during live sessions to help ensure a safe and positive learning environment.

Chat and communication

  • Some sessions may include chat or messaging features to support learning.

  • These are monitored by staff during sessions.

  • Learners are expected to communicate respectfully and appropriately.

  • Any inappropriate or concerning messages will be addressed and, where necessary, reported following our safeguarding procedures.

Recording sessions

  • Some sessions may be recorded for safeguarding, training, and quality assurance purposes.

  • Where sessions are recorded, families will be informed.

  • Recordings are stored securely and only accessed by authorised staff.

What happens if we have a concern

If a tutor has any concern about a learner’s wellbeing during a session:

  • They will follow our safeguarding procedures immediately

  • They may pause or end the session if needed

  • The concern will be reported to our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)

  • Further action will be taken if required to ensure the learner is safe

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility

We encourage learners and families to speak up if they ever feel uncomfortable or have concerns.

If you would like to raise a concern, you can:

Concerns can be raised anonymously if preferred.
