KS3–KS4 Literacy Intervention
Many learners with SEND reach secondary school with significant gaps in early reading skills. Our Structured Phonics Catch-Up programme provides targeted support to help learners develop the decoding and word recognition skills needed to become confident readers.

This course is designed for learners whose reading age is significantly below their chronological age, and who benefit from a structured and supportive approach to reading.
Who This Course Supports
This course is suitable for learners who:

Are in Key Stage 3 or Key Stage 4

Have a reading age significantly below expected levels

Have dyslexia or literacy difficulties

Have EHCPs or require SEND support

Need structured reading intervention before progressing to Functional Skills or GCSE

Lessons are delivered in a structured, step-by-step format, helping learners rebuild essential reading foundations.
