English Tuition Designed for Neurodivergent Learners

Structured, trauma-informed online English tuition for autistic learners and young people with ADHD.

We specialise in supporting neurodivergent learners who find traditional classroom environments overwhelming. Our online English tuition is designed to reduce anxiety, build confidence, and support steady academic progress.

Many of the learners we work with are bright, thoughtful, and capable, but struggle in fast-paced, high-stimulation classrooms. We provide an alternative learning environment where they can focus, participate, and succeed in English.

Understanding the Challenges

Neurodivergent learners often face:

  • Cognitive overload during extended writing tasks

  • Difficulty organising ideas on paper

  • Executive functioning challenges

  • Perfectionism or fear of getting it wrong

  • Masking and exhaustion after school

  • Anxiety around timed assessments

  • Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA)

We recognise that these are differences in processing, regulation, and learning style — not a lack of ability. Our approach reflects that understanding.

How We Teach Differently

Predictable Structure
Each lesson follows a clear, consistent routine, reducing uncertainty and anxiety.

Scaffolded Writing Support
Writing is broken into manageable steps, with modelling and gradual independence.

Reduced Cognitive Load
Instructions are clear, sequential, and supported with structured frameworks to ease working memory challenges.

Executive Functioning Support
We explicitly teach planning, organising ideas, editing, and reviewing — skills often assumed but not taught in mainstream classrooms.

Calm Online Environment
Small groups (maximum six learners) or 1:1 tuition in a low-pressure, trauma-informed setting. Learners are encouraged rather than put on the spot.

Outcomes and Progress Tracking

We help learners achieve:

  • Improved literacy and writing skills

  • Increased confidence and independence

  • Better engagement in learning

  • Preparation for exams or reintegration into school

Progress is tracked with baseline assessments, measurable targets, and regular reports, giving parents and schools clear evidence of improvement.

Over the last five years, we’ve supported over 30,000 learners from more than 90 countries, helping neurodivergent children and young people thrive academically and emotionally.
